The central position of Marmaris makes it an ideal starting point for your Turkish sailing holiday. Marmaris is a busy town with all the facilities you could want to start you charter. From here you can head north towards Bodrum or turn south and head for Gocek and beyond. Which ever direction you choose there are lots of great anchorages and interesting sights. The small town of Bozburun is a favourite as is historic Datca to the north and the charming rustic village of Orhaniye. It is often possible to sail one-way between the Turkish bases.
