Tontouta International Airport (NOU) is 45km northwest of the capital city of Noumea. When planning to fly to New Caledonia from Europe it is best to fly from France (New Caledonia was once a French colony), or from the UK to eastern Australia from where you can catch an onward connection to New Caledonia to start your yacht charter.
